not-very-buddhist blirt alert: just had my third mind-numbingly frustrating ph conversation with it turns out soneone in Manilla, re a supposed late payment on my credit card. The core of problemwas me no reading thr fine print & assuming a large credit wld count as part of my payment, but the aggravation came from private number call from person who I cldnt understand (& Im no slouch in that regard), who gathrred my info to *verify* me, then had no clue what she was talking about, & told me I owed $150 more than I actually did at the time, & when I tried to unravel the confusion, she then told me I wld need to call *the bank*(ie she wasnt the bank!) , which not surprisingly put the wind up me, so I hung up on her, & called Card Services, who *made a note*, but cldnt stop Manilla from calling me again. So they rang again today, & after another 20 frustrating brick wall convo, incl the refusal to put me on to a supervisor, she eventually *got it*, by which time I was feeling rope-able :-( You wld think they werent making thousands out of me every year in interest, & that I didnt regularly pay much more than the minimum per month in chunks, they really want us to be*battery hens* I know... & this is all for the princely sum of $54, wld u believe! Its not fun being financially in survival mode, I can tell u :-( Another gift from Dave that keeps on giving :-( xm
