note to editors from an aspiring writer: if youre going to start a publication these days, you need to set the standard. the internet has changed things these last 20 years. made it way too easy for folks to peddle shit. offer plenty of rejections. only take the best. it means you care about quality. pay your writers in contributor copies, at the very least. it means youre not out to scam. listen to your contributors! their opinions do count. if you do these things, us writers want to submit. it makes us try harder. it also makes us very proud when were accepted with you; it means something... THIS is literature, not that other shit.
