o m g.. i was a young girl when i saw this movie and heard this song. i actually understood the movie. guess i was like when i was going to grow up , be more like MISS BARBARA PARKINS character. little did i know i would end up similar. but i got kinda fond of xaanax and tequila.sunrises. cause when my x drank wild turkey it was horrible or perhaps nothing at all.there were many consequences. life was crazy, things i was not prepared for and had been sheltered from . but they got me by. funny when i saw the movie and came home to tell my mama about it it scared her. that a young girl would even get the movie . but some how i knew.. and later my life had been that way since 1992.. to 2012. this is a beautiful song. good actresses , miss SHARON TATE, MISS PATTY DUKE, AND MISS BARABARA PARKINS. AND MISS SUSAN HAYWARD even starred in this movie. and MISS DIONNE WARWICK sings the song .i listen to this song this day... and wondered how i survived .. but i did. and later... i did not need the xaanax and tequila sunrises any more. i got the help of above , religious and family up there. and even the love of family pets there and here. but i feel that song so so much.also. thank you for this post. i am stronger from it all.
