oK I have been holding back posting any success on my weight loss as this is very personal to me...BUT if I can be of any help to anyone I guess I owe it to post my epiphany. SO, doctors orders to loose weight....knee issues, back issues, slight high blood pressure.......I have always been on the diet roller coaster.....I have tried it all...the cabbage diet, akins, jenny craig, nutrisystem.....grapefruit diet, etc etc etc...on and on.....so the doctor gave me a few tips........and they WORKED.........easy.....cut my portions in half-use a small salad plate.....when you think you are hungry.....drink WATER, dont eat after 8pm....I moved it to 6p as I go to bed early...the rule is 2 hours before bed.....less salt and no snacking at night....NO SNACKING is key....that is it...I keep sipping water all night...honest to god...I stick by this and I have lost 18 lbs, 12 of it in the last month......the best part is you eat NORMALLY, (I did switch to coconut oil in place of butter, this was the only different change I made) I hope this helps anyone stuck in the diet rotary that keeps going round and round.......and you have to be ready to do it.
