obit from Barlow Funeral Home Jeanette Jenny Hagan Visitation No Visitation Memorial 11:00 am Friday at St. Gregory Catholic Church Interment St. Joseph Cemetery Born August 11, 1939 Died November 01, 2014 Jeanette Jenny Hagan, 75, of Coxs Creek, died Saturday November 1, 2014 at Kindred at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born August 11, 1939 in Lavinia, Tennessee, graduated high school in Karachi, Pakistan, two years of college in Beirut, Lebanon, and graduated from University of Tennessee with a B.S. degree in 1961. She was a member of community bible study at Parkway Baptist Church, beautification committee at St. Gregory Catholic Church, and St. Gregory Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Milton and Erlene Gowan Smith. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Bob M. Hagan of Coxs Creek; three daughters, Teresa H. (Brian) Vanderburg of Seattle, Washington, Anita Marie Hagan of Edgewater, Maryland, and Melinda Hagan of Old Town, Florida; and two granddaughters, Kari Frances Vanderburg, and Lydia Mae Vanderburg. Her Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Friday November 7, 2014 at St. Gregory Catholic Church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Bill Griner and Deacon Joe Livers will officiate. Memorial contributions may go to American Cancer Society or The Humane Society of Nelson County.
