ok... been thinking about this whole election thing - and made an off the cuff remark about voting for Clive Palmer and his lot, based on the fact that hes the only politician to give one of my mates a job (lol Mike Murdock), and yes, I was joking..... but then I realised I had never paid any attention at all to the parties policies and blah blah lines. So I had a look, Im kinda impressed I must say. Liking the idea of conscience votes for their mps on social issues like gay marriage etc - as it should be. Can any of you who are seriously paying any attention to this whole election overload tell me anything that you know about the Palmer United party - cos frankly, what Ive read in their blurb seems very normal and straight down the line and something I like all round (so I am sure that I MUST be missing something here or more of you would be talking about them). fill me in if you know anything folks!
