ok for anyone interested, i have been to burgas, had the address of the relevent hospital and did research to find it on the internet but still had a problem so I got a taxi and Colin followed in the car and we got there. Great carpark at the rear 1lv an hour. Managed to find reception on 3rd floor and queued to register. As I had phoned prior I already had a slot although it was still a long corridor with hundreds of people. Was seen within half an hour despite the electric going off and computers down. Whilst I had registered this was an interview to make up a proper file for me, a guy came in who spoke very good english and explained what I was to expect. There was a woman in my queue who spoke english and had offered to come and help us. By this time it was about 9.30am which from registration had taken us about 1 hour. We were told that we had to go to the oncology department which was adjacent to the car park at 1pm so went for a shop and lunch and then back to Oncology for my appointment. Went to reception and the woman was completely blank and said it was xray department, so back to original english speaking man and he said we were in the right department, it seems that am is one sort of department there and pm is another. saw a committee of surgeons who told me that 8 November at 6.30am I had to go to that building for blood test, scan and xray and then to go at 8.30 am to main hospital 9th floor for a 2 day stay where I might get Chemo or Radiotherapy depending on some missing info from Yambol hospital which I have a note for them to give essential info. So off to Yambol on Monday for this letter. If it is chemo it will be a course of 6 visits 21 days apart. Frustrating but our fault for not speaking Bulgarian but also very chuffed with ourselves for having found the place and getting me sorted with the next stage. It does mean spending a night in a hotel but must look on that as a holiday.
