ok home from grocery shopping - missing El Salvador already -they all come to u - the water truck, $2 - 5 gal - beer truck 2 doz $14 hmm which is cheaper - lol - $1 pineapple - 3 avocados $1 - bag tomatoes $1 - garlic onion fruit such a good deal - fresh buns - usually i would give him .10 for 6? or .25 seemed like everything was $1 - hmm guess it was because i didnt learn my numbers and prices lol - .25? so just kept handing them change and both of us happy - the honking and loud speaker would start around 6 am - took a while to figure out all the sounds - most groceries at super selecto in town - bottle of excellent wine from chile $5.25 - vodka $5 - pina colada mix $2 - ice $1 hmmm cheap drunk - lol - think cigarettes $1.65 and they have a pop click to turn them to menthol - so very Great prices to live cheaply - dinner at fancy restaurant on the ocean - amazing view and sunset 3 of us $60 with drinks -lol - well i blew the grocery budget today lol - $167 probably what i spent in 2 months lo -but AWESOME to be back home - missing the beach and sunshine - but looking forward to connecting with friends...... cheers - so GRATEFUL for my time there to see a whole other culture - we also donated womens clothing and bought kids clothing at the thrift store .10 - .25 so took bags to the kids whose faces lit up so much - that was PRICELESS..... pics later.....
