ok, im technically an agnostic, so this whole page is a barrel of laughs for me. saying this i have read enough Terry Pratchett to at least consider the existence of god(s) and all of them through one of the common themes in terrys books, and a fair bit of scientific observation. well someone elses observation at least. so if you observe something you change the nature of the thing or the out come of the event. like when your boss walks in the room when your playing pacman the events outcome is changed. observations of this sort have been performed on radioactive half lives of certain elements and these tests have shown that by actively observing the decay of the elements changed the amount of time it took for the predicted results. so this would suggest to me that somewhere along the line there is some energy transfer. another science bit, you dont create or destroy energy, you merely transfer what state its in (kinetic to heat unless lubricated) so now the third bit of science, other forms of sentient life. due to the nature of infinity i dont think were the only forms of sentient life to exist, so that said its not likely that all forms of sentient life are carbon based, biped life forms. perhaps someone could exist without corporeal form. iv worked in elderly care homes and cant say no to the possibility of ghosts. so all that been said, if you believe in something like a god or deity is it not possible that in your own observation of the thing, that there maybe energy transfer, could consciousness be a generator for a, well thats where it comes unstuck for me because i dont know or care what it would create, but could it be sustenance for a creature, being or intelligence? well in my eyes its at least a possibility. two things though, there are massive holes in my argument for god botherers and test tube pushers alike to poke there heads in and laugh, but the scientists arguments will have more logical merits and the theists will have more blind faith in there good books. second thing, read Terry Pratchett books. They. Are. Awsome.
