ok last week i posted about how certian flies lay larva that control ants minds helping the fly infect more ants. Today i saw a program about a parasite called the lancet flute. its a larva that has to go through 3 hosts to complete its life cycle. step 1-they live in snails and slugs that pass through their slime. step 2- the slime is picked up by ants, which controls them into climbing to the top of grass blades. step 3-cows eat the grass infecting them. They pass with the cows stool and hatch into more parasites and the cycle continues back at 1.
