ok obviously not happy we lost but alot of positives,shaw at left back seems to be improving,fellani again showing why we signed him,rojo seems to be growing into a utd player------main thing is the players showed heart and never gave up and a draw would not have been an unfair result------now smalling and my view of the red card------2nd yellow no question a yellow card end of story,but the 1st one the ref should have shown some common sense. yes give the foul and a verbal warning but didnt need to book him especially as just before that januzi had just been clattered twice in quick succession and we saw a foul given but no yellow card and clichy and least should have been booked,also hart put his head against the ref which should have been at least yellow as you cannot do that to any official not just the ref end of story. to finish last season in this fixture we looked devoid of ideas and had no heart but this season we are starting to look top quality again and we have a spirit again and even with 10 men we still kept going and on another day could have got a result-----as i said we probably deserved a draw and had we kept 11 men on the pitch we would have got that and quite possibly the win. so overall you can see improvement so despite losing im not down and depressed like last season after this fixture when city were clearly better than us both on the pitch and tactically-----sign a centerback in january and get a settled centerback pairing plus shaw and a fit rafael then i think things will be alot better------we knew this was going to be a strange season BUT there is a light at the end of the tunnel and its getting brighter $$Rob$$
