ok so I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator back in 2012. side by side model with water and ice maker. since then 3 yes count them 3 have just up and quit working the first two was under warranty and they replaced it, now thats all well and good but what about all the food that I lost the first time it happened it was the holidays and bam aprox 1500 dollars in food gone the second time again close to holidays and aprox 500 in food. here again its gone out and well thanksgiving is gone for us. I am a disabled women and live with my elderly mother who is 67 she works part time and we are raising my grandson that is 7 and has cerebral palsy we dont get food stamps we get only what we have worked for. So I called Frigidaire and talked to a Regina who was going to schedule a work order that was going to cost me. OH BUT NO I said. Its only 2 years old why should I have to pay again for this POS I mean I paid close to 2000 for it and have lost over that in food from the issues I have had. And all they can tell me is that the manufacture warranty expired after a year. WTH why invest in one if its not going to last a few years? Then when I threatened to go to the social media the girl tells me that the corporate managers where going into a meeting over it and would call me back at 4 pm. This was at 2:30 pm. so here it is 4:30 and again I am on hold with them because I had to call back. They didnt hold up to their words. Mandy Nunery who was a corporate manager gets on the phone and is clueless about the meeting they were suppose to be having, Tells me she can offer me 50 percent off of a new refrigerator. Ha I dont think so, she then tells me she cant do anything else and that she couldnt connect me to the corporate headquarters. well needless to say I told her I would search for it and she told me good luck. I know what she meant because you get the same number and a run around. I am calling my local news station and plastering this all over social media. I dont ask for anything i havent worked for but I sure dont waste either. and thats what has happened. I hope your happy Frigidaire because I hope enough people see this and refuse to by your products and put you out of business. once upon a time Frigidaire was high quality products dependable now all they are are scrap metals and plastics. I guess they dont care because they get your money then once you pay that what are you suppose to do then either fix it or invested in a new one? They are heartless evil and greedy and I hope they one day will face going without food because of a product that they made does the same thing to them.
