ok so it seems you cant call DSS child services against the school board. So i called on myself and told them that if my childs IEP was not met by tomarrow i was taking hom out of school. nothing else worked or i was told takes weeks and mose even 6 months just to get started.It is vary wrong to have a system that will report family and be taken by law under review withing hours yet if it is school especially school board it is ok. for people in that position to cut personel and programs with out ever reviewing IEP of children involved is wrong. especially when children with downsyndrom ,who have seizures. children with autism that have tantrums and spells where they forget everything, and more are involved. when they ar e upset it directly effects their physical health and that is true for most of these kids. I do want to make it clear that the teachers them selves that are involved are concerned for these children in my case they have been wonderfull and made progress that i did not believe possible in the amt of time they had him. but when school board cut they have no say so many of them wondered even the day before school if they had a job. they support me even when they were afraid of loosing their jobs. I wish to thank them but want everyone out their even with out kids to realize your taxes are paying for people like this and we need each and every one out their to step up and speak up even when its hard.
