ok, time for a rant..... there are many local businesses in every town, that are passed by every day without locals supporting them with their business....people go to big box stores and franchise restaurants, while the local businesses slowly go bankrupt.....why would you purchase a fruit bouquet from some company, while local vendors could do a better job for a much better price? Why have a meal from some national chain, while there are empty tables at wonderful family owned restaurants???? Our local bakeries have better bread and pastries, our delicatessens have better sandwiches and meals.....if everyone made it their business to give these businesses their business, we would all be better off.....and the tax base would appreciate the extra taxes from working businesses....ok, Ive had my say.....
