okay, I developed a roll of jessops pan100s black and white film - TopicsExpress

okay, I developed a roll of jessops pan100s black and white film using semi-stand development at home yesterday, only the second roll done at home, and the negatives come out really good.... but the plan was, and is for all future rolls developed at home, to scan them in using my Canon 600d as Raw files and then edit them in photoshop. The only problem is that I dont own a macro lens, so I had to use the 18-55mm kit lens zoomed to around 25mm, because I couldnt focus close enough. Being a student I have a very tight budget, and I was wondering if any one could suggest a sharp but cheap macro lens, or a good alternative. These are some of the scans that I did last night, but they are very soft and small resolution etc etc. All were shot on a olympus xa2.
