okay I will clear up the Mystery of Flight 370 for those that care... heading Northeast towards China..about one hour into the flight they lost communications and navigation capability (yes the black box still worked) , no one turned off anything, then they turned around to head back to Malaysia thinking that was the safety course of action. Unfortunately they didnt turn 180 degrees around only 140...and so they never found the coastline again, they headed out to the Indian Ocean (where no radar exists ..no one cares about it)..by the time they realized there was not going to be a coastline to find they turned left (towards Austraila thinking Malaysia would be there.. but they took too long and couldnt reach land and ran out of fuel in flight and went down in the Indian Ocean
