okay am not saying that this generalization applies to all, but most, and it is just my opinion, an observation. am just wondering why countries with caucasians... and too cold, numb, that sense that they care, but really they dont? i really cant seem to think of a better word for it. but when asians go to these places, am sure that they feel it to the point that it is miserable to celebrate a special occasion. and when they do stay in these places, they also tend to be aloof from family and friends from home that they develop this kind of independence or coldness/ numbness - like brainwashed or something. (lolz) but when caucasians go to asia, particularly southeast asia, most just feel right at home - most of the people are just awesome. is it just me? bec i go to parts of vegas, when white sales people sees me, an asian, theyre not that welcoming, even if youre ready to spend/ shop. but when i shop here in manila or in singapore, its a different thing. so are most people in south east asia just warmer than the people there??? i just find this sooo weird, even in places with an Oprah Winfrey... well you know what i mean.
