okay guys. this ice bucket challenge. its wonderful that those of you who are partaking are raising awareness/donating and such but fresh water is an incredibly precious resource!! california is also in a SERIOUS DROUGHT. WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF WATER. might i suggest a replacement option for the challenge: jump into the pacific ocean in just a swim suit or fully clothed. film it, spread the word that we are in a crisis AND about ALS. two birds with one stone and probably far more fun than getting a bucket of ice dumped over your head. also, please just save water everyday. as much as you can. if its yellow let it mellow, shorten your showers (boo hoo what a sacrifice), use your leftover shower/dish water to water the plants/lawn, stop washing your cars, you get the idea! if you happen to not live in california, please still do what you can to save water!! the littlest, most seemingly insignificant things matter when everybody is partaking. you arent the only one who leaves the tap on while brushing your teeth or washing your face. and also just educate your neighbors, friends, family, etc. this planet is the only place we have, so lets start taking care of it, yes? yes!
