okay okay.....I have bitten my tongue long enough on this ladys story. I have seen another article of hers going around and I avoided it like the plague. haha I normally dont post the controversial stuff that goes around the internet. I think the reason I dont usually post these things is because 1. I love to keep things positive on here. 2. I tend to beat to my own drum and usually steer clear of these kinds of posts. BUT, IM POSTING THIS. Get ready for me to get on my soapbox for a few minutes. I dont have many and never rant or post negative things, but this article really gets under my skin. I was poor growing up, was on food stamps at times, WIC, lived in trailer parks off and on, didnt have the money to do the extra things that I did but I got a job EARLY on and started to work for the things I wanted, I paid for my own cheerleading costs, track meets, class ring, my own car and insurance (even worked full time while going to college full time because I had to pay for it.) MY point....I DO NOT HAVE the patience for the poor me mentality or the entitlement issues that people tend to sometimes have. STOP blaming someone else for your short comings. If you want something, GO GET IT! I know its hard, I know its a pain in the butt to make the right choices, I know, Ive been there. If it was easy everyone would do it. She can make better choices on things to eat and blaming the government on her obesity is absurd. She also commented in another article about not having the money for a gym membership. Im sorry.....walking is free. Start there. Okay....sorry......for all you new friends here...just now that in about 2 years of having this page, this is probably the first post like this! haha But come on lady......take some responsibility for your yourself. I know eating healthy isnt the cheapest way to eat. I also know that the things that fill her cabinet arent cheap either. I have found it is cheaper to buy healthy foods at the grocery store, and by preparing a meal at home is usually much cheaper than going out to eat.
