okay so I was looking into if it was possible to go by public transport in one day because it seems cheaper than a plane and this is the plan what journey planner gave me: DEP Fri 9:06am Southern Cross Railway Station (Melbourne City) Take the train towards Wendouree ARR Fri 10:33am Get off at stop Ballarat Railway Station (Ballarat Central) Time: 1h 27min Zone(s): Regional Operator: V/Line DEP Fri 11:00am Ballarat Railway Station (Ballarat Central) Take the coach towards Horsham ARR Fri 1:35pm Get off at stop Coach Terminal/24 Roberts Ave (Horsham) Time: 2h 35min Zone(s): Regional Operator: V/Line DEP Fri 2:00pm Coach Terminal/24 Roberts Ave (Horsham) Take the coach towards Adelaide (SA) (via Horsham Station) ARR Fri 7:25pm Get off at stop 85 Franklin St (Adelaide City (SA)) Time: 5h 55min Zone(s): Regional Operator: V/Line Notes: ** RESERVATIONS REQUIRED ** ** Reserved Service originates at Bendigo at 10:50am ** the last stop is i think half an hours walk away from the venue for the con anyway that might be a cheaper option ive not used vline stuff before and am foggy on the pricing but it seems like an option if anyones interested?
