oligarchy |ˈäliˌgärkē, ˈōli-| noun (pl. oligarchies) a small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution: the ruling oligarchy of military men around the president. • a country governed by an oligarchy: the English aristocratic oligarchy of the 19th century. Think a weak PM coerced into appointing a person un-elected to be PM and non-qualified to be PM as the chair of a un-constitutional body who can dictate to the highest executive authority what to do... This has happened in India with Indian National Congress Party in power to enable its party president to grab power when she was ineligible for it. You have an Oligarchy formed with connivance by senior members of the party, elected or un elected, who subverted Indian Constituition. Would you want to bring them to Justice or not? Essentially, Indian National Congress Party, when in power, worked as an Oligarchy rather than a participant in our constitutionally mandated democracy. Do we have laws to deal with Oligarchies taking over our country? It is possible to pass a law against Oligarchs with retro-active effect in current Parliament to punish these criminals. How would we go about it? Will our current Government listen and work in this way? Can we all pressure our Government to do what is needed? Essentially Sonia Gandhi and her cohorts reduced India into a banana republic within 57 years of freedom. What should their fate be? Would you want to be a slave?
