on one of the many tours of Europe, we were in Basel and had been out to dinner with Markus Gygax, ( Swiss Promoter and all round good guy) Bev Smith and I were strolling through the city centre enjoying the architecture and of course on the hunt for a decent bar :-) We turned a corner into a little square and came across Top Secret the amazing Drumline from Basel, they performed in this square and then moved off still playing, so Bev and I followed them, they made four more stops in various parts of the city and performed their routine again, on one of the trips between stops, one of them dropped a stick which I picked up and gave to Bev, it was a treetrunk compared to his sticks :-) one of the wonderful memories of working with the band and iin particular the lovely Bev, a true friend to me during and after my time with them, a man without a mean bone in his body, a great laugh and a massive capacity for beer :-) so heres a taste of what we saw that night https://youtube/watch?v=DX1gCC31wJ4
