one day i was walking through a department store and the Lord began to bring thoughts about the Laodicean church...for years i had heard preachers use this scripture in invitations for people to come to Christ,Behold I stand at the door and knock...when actually it is a warning for the church to REPENT...He, Jesus, had been put out of His church...not much has changed...The very nature of the word explains...LAODICA: the word is broken down into two parts...first , people...second opinion...This is still one of the leading separations between man and God...we have what the Lord says...and we have what mans opinion is ,about what God has said...PRIDE...it also stands for the custom of the people...tradition. RULED BY THE PEOPLE...you have deacons and elders ruling the church...democratic, one must never forget that it is called THE KINGDOM OF GOD...there is one rule of order...His Word. the last two characteristics of this word is the peoples right...or people have right of opinion...WRONG...you may want to consider this before choosing to go to heaven...there are no voting booths or suggestion boxs...Most of the body of Christ is in this state,,,she could be called the( run away bride)...but THANK GOD WE HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO IS ABLE AND WILLING TO BRING US IN, IF WE REPENT AND HUMBLE OURSELVES THE WORD OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD. ...
