one more post before I leave for a week in Phoenix. no photo though...my apologies Burmese Fried Rice of Deliciousness Cook 1 1/2 cups rice according to instructions Thinly slice 3 shallots and saute in olive oil with 1/4 tsp turmeric for 3 minutes Add cooked rice and 1 cup frozen peas and sautee with the shallots and turmeric. Add salt and pepper to taste. Top with an egg fried over easy, put into a wrap with some greens or eat vegan style straight up with some chopped almonds. it is surprisingly delicious and turmeric is very good for you!
