one of my favorite photos shot years ago with 120 film and now scanned in and digital re work i call them Snake Cereus but dont know the correct name will try and find out but the classic cereus open at sunset and close before the dawn they are usually low on the ground and have found pack rats will eat them on the night they open so often i cut it and bring it in to the studio and get up at 4 am to photo it
