one of my most favorite summer activities is eating fresh corn on the cob. Of course, I have an endearment with corn spending my summers in junior high detassling corn, roguing corn and beans, hoeing sunflowers...a rite of passage for teenage boys and girls in Hastings where I grew up. This time of the year though, the corn is perfect - sweet, juicy, tender. Sprinke with garlic salt and butter and its just the best summer snack. Turns out Rocket and Nitro also love corn on the cob. I shared some with them today and they scarffed down the corn picking the cob clean. Better than a beef bone. Rocket loved his so much he rolled on the top of the cob after picking it clean!!
