one of the disadvantages of being in another country is your choices of communication are limited. I want to tell my son, Askia, happy birthday, and FB has never been an option for me to let my children know how much I love and appreciate them. How honored I am to have been given the role as their mother. Yet, here I am, faced with the inevitable; telling the most important man in my life, my son, happy birthday. Cant call you and sing our song, baby. Cant schedule a dinner for tonight nor cook something that you would love. Cant buy that ice cream cake today. Cant even send this to your in box. My choices are limited . . .but my love for you has no limits. I see your smile in my minds eye and I smile in my heart. I love you eternally and pray that today is yet another day of new beginnings . . .joy, love, abundance, good healtg\h, laughter. I remember the day as if it was yesterday. . .labor pains can do that. . . I delivered the most precious gift - you and you continue to be the gift that keeps giving.
