The vacancy is for a full-time continuing contract. Excellent written and spoken English is essential, as is near-native fluency in at least one language besides English. German, Latin, Arabic or Portuguese would be of particular interest but not essential. Applications from suitable candidates with fluency in languages other than those stated above are also welcome. The closing date for applications is midnight on 29th September 2013. We expect to conduct interviews on Friday 11th October, and would require the successful candidate to begin work w/c 11th November 2013 (tbc). The BBC can only accept applications from candidates who are eligible to work in the UK.
