only a paltry sum of my salary goes to the tax of which some part of it goes to helping the needy. no prob. but wat sort of needy am I helping? meeting Mr Wrong 2 & indiscriminately propagating while already having 3 of Mr Wrong 1s progeny... its yr freedom of choice but then asking for the state to bail you out financially is just plain irresponsible. And elderly men who are estranged fr their family, are estranged for a reason, their multiple health problems come about, also for a reason. ive seen/argued with enough of these men, yet we bail them out medically & financially. Woe behold me, why am I passing moral judgements on these groups of less fortunate, needy people? maybe the papers did not feature the correct representation of needy? I put my faith in our social workers in dishing out the right amount of help for such people. There are many many others whod benefit more.
