oo was interesting in some ways. The main character is a child solider and raised on the battlefield. Thus does not believe in a god that would create a world like this, full of suffering and injustice. Meanwhile, the world is on the brink of collapse. The energy source life depends on is running low and basically reflects the worlds dependency on oil and the United Earth Government reflects America and other civilized countries, who try to be like them. It only gets crazier from that point on. Everyone and everything gets thrashed at the end of first season. Then making a return 4 years later, feeling the impact they had on the future, is not the future they were fighting for. The world only became more twisted and corrupt.
