ooh - just spoken to Louay Habib, Sailing PR Guru - he has been telling me about the racing planned for Cork Week this year - it sounds incredible!!! Did you know the race managers are all racing sailors themselves? So each day they set totally different courses to test a variety of racing skills - tactical windward-leewards, technical Olympic triangle, teamwork in the round-the-cans harbour race, gybe gates marks and even a speed-trial leg within the harbour race! So much going on, all finished each day with a party in the worlds oldest yacht club! Now I see what all the fuss is about! :)
