ooh mann... Mr Graham Lentz, youve opened up a can of worms and a half. So... this was the drill... Posting music on facebook as an antidote to all the negative stuff that gets circulated, a letter chosen by a friend...my good mate Graham was given the letter D and responded with Dave Brubeck. A classy choice mate! ..and one of my favorites too. Graham appointed me with the letter M, in which the problem arises... My gut reaction is to go with Madness, the Marvelettes, Marvin Gaye, Miles Davis, Massive Attack, Mike Curb Congregation, The Mods, Maynard Ferguson, the Misfits, etc... BUT because I am a terminal francophile with an affinity for questionable french pop, Im sticking with the authentic namesake of -M- ...aka Matthieu Chedid (son of french legend Louis Chedid) -M- is one of my guilty pleasures and a bone of contention with my mates Serge, Gabriela, Dominique (aka Jean!) and other purveyors of proper good french music, a dividing line among frenchies everywhere! But I love him anyway and one of the best concerts Ive ever seen. ...and I sing this song in the shower every other day. So there. Je suis desole...I cant help myself sometimes dudes... If you want to join in on this ridiculous party train, just post a comment and I will nominate a letter for you... no matter what style rocks your boat, carry on, keep the faith and have fun.... music is life ; ))
