oohh I do wish people would keep their parenting tips to themselves sometimes .... now if I am asking for advice then fine but if I am not and you just feel the need to give advice then please do keep it to yourself. Went to the dentist with the kids today and she told me and my son that he was far to young to make decisions for himself at the age of 13! I left him to make his mind up as to whether to have a brace or not .... I gave him the advice he needed but didnt want to force him to have it done when he was in a state of worry about it. He eventually (a few weeks later) said yes he did want one. I think my way was better than making him feel forced to have something done that he wasnt happy with personally. Apologies for the little rant ..... feel better now after getting that off my chest :-)
