opinions on the recent video of police/citizen encounter? current argument for the police (by facebookers and youtubers) is that the lady should have just followed orders and she wouldnt have been tazed in the first place. It is a valid argument, still dont know if it justifies this one. police officer took about 10 footsteps before getting to the lady (which would mean she was between 10 and 13ft away appx) she did resist when he tried to grab her arm, but she didnt run for it or attempt to fight back. apparently the lady is in her 60s, he could have easily caught her. he doesnt even make an attempt at trying to do that. she takes 3 steps and puts the tazer in her back.
