our family is in a struggle for food now. the government has informed us as of yesterday to return the food stamps we had used to feed our family. We are devastated. My husband does now make enough money for food let alone even gas to get to work. We are so exhausted from this storm that just keeps raging. Today my tummy is swelled up to the size of a 6 month pregnancy from the disease. Here i am not able t get my surgery, no food money anymore, and now owing $500 to the government which they want it within 30 days. This is sick. We dont even have $15 a week for food or gas, how in the world do they think they will get this. Well it gets worse, they will take it from my husbands pay with is already at poverty level. We are both sick to our stomach right now. There will be no thanksgiving dinner for this family let alone any sign of groceries. The food banks are terrible, there is nothing left in them but old dangerous spoiled food that any of us would never put in our loved ones stomachs. This is a disgrace. I worked 15 years and paid into a system for this kind of help and this is a blow to our minds! I am begging on behalf of anyone to put us on a prayer chain, we have been on our knees for years in this storm, hospital debt which is going to attach his wages also, we are human so yes we are scared who wouldnt be, all we wanted was to feed our family and have the dr. for my health. Now we are hit with debt from food already eaten! Dear God, reach down, hear our prayer, please Lord, we need your help.
