our pets become so much a part of our family......we simply consider them family.............whether intended or not ......they just creep into our affections and make their way to our heart..deeper and deeper..........it is devastating when they are ill or aged or both.........we lost Bonnie Sue a champion rodent and moth killer..........two weeks ago, now Charley is going....he, too is a rescue ---a shepard mix.....who loved toys and he adopted cats and loved them........ ......my neighbors beloved cat is ill and not likely to make it............and I have part ownership with my daughter an ancient rescue mixed breed.....(that Mexican hairless, whose name I simply cannot learn to spell).....who is getting creaky and half blind and even his smeller is diminished......hearing, too........and a friend had to have both her dogs put to sleep due to advanced illnesses........all in the same month..........so much sadness..................so many tears.............. and my friends are in pain from various problems............. everyone I hear from is in pain and there is nothing that can be done...........and it goes on some days I feel overwhelmed with sadness................. sorry for the weep.....................................................................fin..........
