(out of order) April 25: First full day of teaching is complete! About 75-80 young men and women gathered, many of whom serve in circumstances quite different from my own--like the young couple I met tonight. Married only two years, they escaped severe punishment, fled their homeland, left two well-paying jobs and sought asylum in a foreign land! Among my takeaways from today--these men and women from a part of the world where the church is heavily persecuted display unusual courage, a ravenous appetite for Gods Word and a palpable sense of joy in spite of hardships. Cant wait to see what tomorrow brings!
