Parents who 1) homeschool, 2) spank, 3) dont vaccinate, 4) have large families, 5) adopt, and 6) attend church regularly (a conservative church) need to know that they will raise eyebrows in hospitals. And, in some cases, be treated like criminals and have their access to their children limited or taken away. There are professionals out there trained to spot red flags and respond accordingly. Unfortunately, many of these red flags are common among Christian families. Im not saying were the ONLY ones suffering this injustice. I just want you to be aware. It is a painful thing to experience. Have a plan. Know your personal physician. Keep records. Know your rights. And be wise.
