Job Description : · Develop and refine new metrics and tools for our product and service offerings. · Will be rapidly prototyping new tools/reporting based on ideas from current customers and based on exploratory data mining and machine learning. · This role and the Data Science team act in support of the entire organization yet also interact with clients and other external individuals and organizations to expand on Oxyent’s place as a thought leader in the space of big data science and analytics. Job Responsibilities : · Develop systems to transform data from raw inputs to a visualized report – you must be interested in creating end to end data solutions. · Work with a team to develop new metrics and tools based on collected data from various sources. · Work collaboratively with the rest of the data science team to make sure that everything the team produces is high quality and high value. Skills ( Mandatory) : · Strong coding abilities in Python, Java, or another OOP language . · 0-3 years of experience in industry building algorithms, analyses, tools, and products from large structure or unstructured data sets – a clear track record for solving problems using a quantitative approach a must. · Proficiency with statistical/mathematical methods a plus – particularly, regressions, clustering algorithms, hypothesis testing, among others. Skills ( Preferred) : · Self-starter and positive attitude a must. · Desire to work in a fast-paced, iterative, test-driven, growing start-up environment · Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and fraud detection a plus. · Experience in ETL development and tools a plus · Proficiency with Hadoop, Pig, Hive, SQL, Data Analytics (map/reduce programming), BPM on Linux environment · Proficiency with R or other statistical software (if you’ve developed libraries for R, a positive) Salary : INR 3.6 - 4.0 Lacs P.A (Negotiable) Job Location:Delhi
