pamPiano is a musical journey into the piano music inspired by the pampa - the South American plains. Brazilian pianist Olinda Alessandrini gathered a repertoire of works by composers from Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, offering the basis for a contemporary experience of image, information and poetry. The film celebrates the career and recent work of the reknowed pianist, and invites for a into the landscape and culture of the pampa: photographic essays of its unlimited horizons; comentaries by the pianist about the hybrid gaucho culture; insight into the interpration of its music.
