parenting problems or say issues!!!!!! planning to watch 2 states. must be a good movie. the novel it is based on was humorous and interesting too, probably the most light hearted one from chetan bhagats stable. i perceive a few things. used to divide the movies in two categories, one starring dharmendra, sunny, srk & madhuri were those which were to be watched in a cinema hall, and the rest on tv . but with time, the spectrum got widened. have, of late, watched movies of actors like aditya kapoor, randeep hooda, aaliya, shradha, kangana in the multiplex. this has got to do with kids preferences. wife never really complained and watched a lot of sunny movies which she found cacophonous. but the kids made me change taste or possibly risk getting alienated. the current crop of films have however created newer issues. the two dozen kisses syndrome, hitherto synonymous with imran hashmi & mallika sehrawat types, has entered the mainstream now. there are two different approaches to tackle the problem. one is to exercise the rights/ veto power by virtue of being parents and thereby being blissfully oblivious to probability of them watching the movie on the sly. the second option is to accompany them to the theatre and laughing away the smooches and the other scenes. to me, the second option appears the viable one. am still undecided though. the quandary continues. whats your opinion friends??
