people can only do horrific things when they are disconnected from their heart and soul. Theres no way they could purposely harm another if they were in touch with the love, kindness and compassion in their hearts. I have often wondered why there is so much endless suffering, where does it come from, why is it allowed to go on. I know part of it is about growth, learning and evolvement. But that isnt a good enough answer for me for the untold suffering of innocents who dont deserve it. I know that everything is not random chaos, there is a higher power that we are apart of. god loves us and wants the best for us, so why does he allow evil to harm the innocents? And saying its because of free will isnt a fair reason either, what, all of us have to suffer because some powerful, evil bullies have been given free reign to wreak havoc and destruction? There are two things i have thought in regards to this: one is that this life is an elaborate dream, an illusion and a school. It seems so real but is an experience our soul is having, and in the bigger picture, nothing can really harm our soul. At the end of this life, It will be just like when u wake up from a nightmare. And the other thing is, maybe our human minds are incapable of fully understanding the reasons. Even the most enlightened of minds are still very limited compared to the mind of god, or the universe, cosmic counsiousness, whatever u call it.
