The official autopsy leaned in his favor and the unofficial autopsy was ambiguous. Also, no reliable witnesses could be found as the witnesses contradicted themselves in their accounts to investigators and media. It would have been a waste of taxpayer dollars to pursue such a futile case. As long as the jury had even the slightest doubt that Wilson was guilty, hes innocent in the spirit of the law.
