Gossip barbed with our ange, a polite form of murder by character assassination, has its satisfactions for us, too. Here we are not trying to help those we criticize; we are trying to proclaim our own righteousness. Think about it to make myself feel better than you i talk shit in the disguise of helping you just so that i can feel better about myself. I have been guilty of this behavior but having experienced ir from others who should know better i most assuredly work on not giving in to this character defect mostly because i hated it when it was done to m e. I am not perfect so unless i was present when the act happened it is none of my business and i try not to take sides and neither do i try to judge a person. I do my best but it is a character defect, yes you guess right i am on step 6 again lol. i have been attending a series of meetings for the last 6 months where you get to do the 12 steps old school style. 12 steps in 4 hours. lol. i digress i just have to look within myself buckle down and get her done.
