please be careful on the road peeps. I was one of the first people on this accident. The car was on fire, the road, grass and trees were all on fire. While one trucker put out the car fire, another tucker and I checked the fire on the embankment & found a semi fully engulfed, it then exploded several times, we thought we had just witnessed a death but later found out somehow he got out before it exploded. We turned back to back to the car (I thought the driver would be dead and/or burned) only to see a young man begging for help. He was trapped in his car, head lacerations, bleeding. His name was Mitchell, 21 years old, headed to work. I was lucky to meet him, hold his hand and talk to him until help arrived. He kept saying he wanted to die, and we talked about his family. Fire arrived, cleared me out. Last time I saw him they covered him with a tarp to extricate him with jaws of life, then flew him out. This is the amazing part, I followed up with CHP, after the car and rig hit head-on the semi carrying 2 trailers had plowed through the guard rail and rolled before exploding. The driver got out and was basically unharmed!!! Mitchell suffered a broken leg and head lacerations/injury. Non life threatening!
