please dont forget the free meals on offer around the community, the st johns church on Friday put on a very good soup and some of the time u get given bread or rolls to take home with u. Salvation Army on Tuesday is also good, but now they have limited seating and a gold coin donation to help with costs. there are a few more, but cant think of them of the top of my head.. will add the rest later or if anyone knows of others please feel free to add. Keep an eye on on specials at supermarkets.. and look in the reduce to clear bins, often the food there is still okay or u get dented cans..at a reduced price. WINZ offer food parcels..use them too if u have allowances available.. if not ask them for a letter to take to the food banks.. be aware food banks are all now linked via computers... this was because people were going to different food banks on the same day/week.
