please save adorable HENNESSY! ***TERRIFIED AND IN NEED OF A LOVING AND STABLE HOME*** A volunteer writes: Hennessy reminds me of a baby wolf. She is tiny, furry, fluffy and so cute with her china blue eyes that sometimes seem to cross. She is skittish, anxious, timid , hand shy and will roll on her back in submission. She will recess under the bench and eat her rawhide in the safety of her hide-out. Hennessy does a lot of back and forth. One step forward and two steps backward. I have to move slowly with her. She gets scared easily and will mouth my hand very gently if I go to fast for her taste. She needs lots of reassurance and one wonders why she might be so scared… Eventually, Hennessy climbs into my lap . I cradle her in my arms like a tiny infant. What a strange little girl… I wonder what is her story ? She was found as a stray…Little Hennessy needs to settle down for us to understand her better. A stable home , a loving and savvy master , are exactly what Hennessy needs to feel good, safe and happy and evolves into a wonderful and lovely forever companion. Hennessy is at the Manhattan Care Center.
