please send up a thought , a wish, a prayer for the safe return of my dog family, especially the puppy hushpuppy who at nine months decided to follow the big dogs on her first serious hunt. the swiftness with which they dashed into the bushes caught me my surprise but i thought they would soon be right back and i did not shout out my command the very instant they took off. is the only way they would have stopped. once instinct took over, and my shout came, no more than five seconds later, they were gone and did not heed my command. my heart is aching. and i am asking for prayers. i had seen the agouti the other day but they didn;t catch the smell. this time they caught the smell, and i was the slow one. can i blame them for wanting to show independence. for catching their own food. they are my babies. i want them back. the young neighbour tells me they will be back in half hour once they finsih the meal. he is from toledo. i have decided to believe him. and danny who says they will be back scratched up. i can only wait. and hope. and pray. it has been a while since i lit a candle to the heavens. please come back babies.
