please share to distribute far and wide: LoF 2015 Effigy Application Deadline - Extended! Lakes of Fire Family, The Effigy Application Deadline is being Extended to December 15th. Plenty of time to prepare those awesome ideas into well written proposals. Every year the Effigy at Lakes of Fire is designed and built by different crews. The Effigy Council reviews proposals written by numerous designers and chooses the best for the following year’s burn. For the 2015 cycle the process was moved up quite a bit to facilitate the production cycle of the event. We at the Effigy Council have performed a self assessment of this process and have decided that we can do a better job of supplying information needed to submit proposal applications. Instead of waiting to fix these discovered issues until next year we put our heads together and worked some overtime to get ‘er done now. Extending the deadline, in our opinion, will allow the new information and changes to be utilized for the best possible result for LoF 2015 “Fabulous Contraption”. Want to submit a proposal? The website has been updated to provide you with as much information as possible about creating a proposal and general expectations of the Effigy Build Crew. Got an awesome Effigy idea?
