posted by sharon ely: Joe and I are beyond sad to say we lost our dear brilliant friend ,Ian Mc Lagan. we send his family and all of his friends our love right now. we are both overwhelmed by the loss of 2 of the most delightful, brilliant musicians in our lives today, Bobby Keys , who passed tuesday morning in Nashville , and Ian , who passed wednesday at 3:25 in austin.I will miss both of them so much because they made me extremely happy when I was around them, and especially when they played their wonderful instruments and made exquisite music.
